JetsPress Draws Statewide JC Award for Innovative Learning

 

JetsPress, the innovative and hugely successful and growing arts and audio visual program at James Clemens High School, earned JC a statewide School of Distinction designation by CLAS (Council of Leaders for Alabama Schools).
Clay Combs heads the JetsPress program at JC. His students have won multiple awards in film and video production categories at both the state and national level. This summer, they plan to debut a full length movie, filmed in the Huntsville area. Watch for "Tomatoes and Merigolds: in a local theater.perhaps this summer. The JetsPress program at James Clemens offers some awesome learning opportunities for students. Friday, May 17th, Mr. Combs and the faculty at James Clemens were honored by the MCS administration in a reception for being named a CLAS School of Distinction.
