Hi!  My name is Melanie Jones.  I have taught in the Madison City School District for quite some time, and I am thrilled to be a part of the Rainbow Elementary School Family.  I started my teaching career in Pennsylvania in 2008, with a Bachelor's Degree of Education from Alvernia University in Reading, Pennsylvania.  I have had the pleasure of teaching all grade levels with an emphasis on reading intervention and math support.  My husband and I have three children, all of whom are Auburn graduates.  Since my husband and I are "empty nesters," we devote most of our time to our beloved family pets and weekend trips to visit our children.  I am so grateful for the opportunity to teach your child and look forward to a fabulous year.
