Samuel Oliver is a teacher at the RISE Academy as the resident Math teacher. He joined the Academy in 2022 after having taught at KIPP Memphis Collegiate High School and Florence High School. He attended and graduated from the University of North Alabama with his bachelor's degree in Secondary Math Education in 2019. He was born and raised in Moulton, AL where he graduated from Lawrence County High School. 

Samuel Oliver resides in Florence, AL with his wife Emma and son Campbell James Oliver. Samuel Oliver enjoys collecting records and comic books and is a big movie fan.
