I am a history teacher at Rise Academy. I have been the history teacher at Rise since 2022. I graduated in 2003 from Athens State University. I was at James Clemens from the school opened in 2012 until 2022. Prior to JC, I taught 7th grade at Discovery Middle School from 2009-2012. Before coming to Madison City, I taught 6 years with Huntsville City Schools. I have taught a variety of classes, such as Civics/Geography, Career Prep, World History, US History I and II, and Government/Economics. 

When I am not at Rise Academy, I enjoy the outdoors. I am an avid golfer and love spending time with my family.
