Samuel Oliver is a teacher at the RISE Academy as the resident Math teacher. He joined RISE Academy in 2022 after having taught at KIPP Memphis Collegiate High School and Florence High School. He attended and graduated from the University of North Alabama with his bachelor's degree in Secondary Math Education in 2019. He was born and raised in Moulton, AL where he graduated from Lawrence County High School. 

Mr. Oliver resides in Athens, AL with his wife Emma and his two sons, Campbell and Carter. Mr. Oliver enjoys collecting records and comic books and is a big movie fan. He also enjoys spending his time outdoors with activities such as hiking, kayaking, biking, and fishing.
