Students Share their Passions

Students in language arts classes shared their passions with students and teachers of James Clemens this past Thursday, May 9th. After a month of planning and research, their visions were brought to life. One student shared a video blog (vlog) about his disabled sister and the requirements of taking care of her. Her sister was even in attendance for the presentation. Another student shared his ideas for making vehicles for disabled veterans better. A future military enlistee showed her ideas for care packages for the military. There was even an obstacle course for a hamster. Many students struggle with writing a research paper, but they are able to go through the process. Passion projects give students the opportunity to show mastery of the skill while presenting it in a manner more comfortable to them.
