My name is Elizabeth Parameswaran, but everyone calls me “Mrs. P.”  I graduated from Transylvania University with a degree in Elementary Education and then received a graduate degree in Differentiated Instruction from the University of Alabama in Huntsville.  Though I have taught in many different capacities, early childhood education remains my favorite!  I love the curiosity, desire to learn, and playfulness of our prekindergarten children!

I have been married for twenty-five years to my husband Sukesh.  We have three children—Anthony, Kiran, and Kasi-- and recently added our bonus child, Alexandra, when my son was married.  We enjoy family time together such as walking and hiking, watching movies, cooking and baking, and cheering on the University of Kentucky basketball team. 

I am excited to be part of the Madison City First Class Pre-K Center and look forward to learning, growing, and building connections and relationships with both students and families!
