My name is Beth Green. I grew up in Madison and graduated from Bob Jones High School in 1992. In 1996, I graduated with an Early Childhood Education degree from Auburn University. War Eagle! I finished graduate school at UAB in 1998. I taught first grade in Birmingham for 7 years and kindergarten in Decatur for 6 years. Between my teaching times, I was the youth minister at Decatur First United Methodist Church for 14 years. I am thrilled to be starting my first year in Pre-K with Madison City. It’s exciting to be able to give back to the community that poured so much into me as I grew up.

I am married to Jonathan and we have three boys. Our oldest is grown, our middle son will be a freshman at James Clemens, and our youngest will be in 5th grade at Mill Creek. We enjoy traveling, Disney, baseball, camping, and going to the lake.
