Mrs. Nichole Phillips

PreK Administrator

Teaching, learning, serving - these three words best describe the life and career of Nichole Phillips.  Her mission is to leave people better than she found them, a quote from Mavin Ashton. A career in education was a natural fit to carry out this mission.  She began her career teaching kindergarten after earning a degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education from the University of Alabama. After being a full time mom to her two daughters Sydney and Jordan, she returned to the classroom to continue her teaching career in Madison County.  She taught pre-K, second, fourth, and fifth grade for seven years there. Continuing her education, she earned a Masters in Instructional Leadership from Samford University. She served as the Assistant Principal at Heritage Elementary for five years before joining the Madison City instructional team as an elementary instructional specialist in 2018. She joined Madison City’s First Class PreK as the Administrator in  2019. She and her husband, Neil, have lived in Madison for over 20 years. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, cooking, and gardening.  Her love for children and the desire to see others reach their potential motivates her to continue her lifelong journey of  teaching and learning.
