Being in a classroom has been an integral part of my life since graduating from the University of South Florida with a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education in 1996. My teaching career began in  Pre-K! I taught Pre-K for one year before moving into a Kindergarten classroom for 3 additional years. Moving to a new school allowed me to experience teaching a new grade! I taught 2nd grade for 4 years before taking a few years off to be a full-time mom. In 2010, my family made an exciting change and moved from the East Coast of Florida to Madison, Alabama. This move brought me into a new position, Title 1 Tutor at Mill Creek Elementary. I enjoyed working with the Mill Creek team for 4 years before moving into the Pre-K family again! In 2015, my journey with the OSR Pre-K program began. I have enjoyed every moment of working with this amazing Pre-K team and look forward to another year in Pre-K.

 I am married to Don, who works for an MDA company and we have 2 daughters, Emma and Amelia. Emma attends UAH Nursing School and Amelia attends James Clemens.
