Hello! My name is Amy Phillips, and I've been with Madison City's First Class Pre-K program since 2013. I have a BS in Early Childhood Education from Athens State University and a BA in psychology from Auburn University. I consider working with four- and five-year-old children as they experience school for the first time as one of my greatest joys. Because child development is dependent upon healthy human relationships, I am committed to forming a relationship with students in partnership with their parents to build a foundation of love, trust, and respect so that the early joys of learning will last a lifetime.

I'm married to the love of my life, Bobby. We live in Madison with our two dogs and two cats. Together, we have four wonderful children who are now all navigating adulthood with their spouses. When we aren't at home, we enjoy traveling and being in the outdoors, attending concerts, and being involved in church.
