Please check your child’s blue daily folder today for important information about our upcoming field trip to Early Works on April 10th:

Cost for students: $20 (covers transportation and entry fees)

Cost for parents attending: $10 (must be prepaid; parents will meet us at early works). Write the name of the adult attending on the green form. 

All payments (both student and parent) are due by Friday, March 21st. Thank you for your attention and support!

This week in 95% Phonics we are reviewing short vowels. Please click this link to read about more activities to do with your child: 95% Phonics Activities. As we discussed at Parent Night, we are also learning what to do when they hear /k/ at the end of a word. When we hear /k/ immediately after a short vowel sound, we spell it -ck. Examples of these words include: duck, rock, kick, neck, sock, lick. This is a skill the students need to show that they understand while they are reading and even in their writing. Thanks for supporting this learning at home!

One of our teachers is sponsoring a drive to support patients at the Clearview Cancer Institute. As a school, we are collecting travel-sized lotions and tissues, fuzzy socks, and peppermints.
