Monday November 6th

There is a stomach bug going around our classroom. We had several students absent. We spent some time this morning going through many clorox wipes as we tried to disinfect our classroom as best we could. We have plenty of wipes, but our spray disinfectant is low. All the Lego pieces and building blocks were sprayed down with Lysol. If you want to donate another can of aerosol spray it would be greatly appreciated. Please be aware if your child starts to complain about tummy troubles.

At this time, I have met or scheduled to meet with all of the parents that requested a parent-teacher conference on the form that was shared in October. I will be sending home the conference forms later this week for the remaining families.

I made a quick video about this week's Practice Sheet. It is less than 2 minutes: Click here to watch the video. Thank you for your support!

Columbia will be hosting our first STEM Day on November 8th. Please click this link for more information: STEM Day

Reminder: Our school’s Veterans Parade is scheduled for Thursday morning from 9:00-9:30. Please have your child wear red, white and blue. Also, if your child would like to make a sign to hold during the parade, please make it at home and send it to school with your child on Thursday morning. Send me an email if you or a family member is driving in the parade so we know to look for you.
