DMS Scholars Bowl, AVID, DI, Arts Students Winners Celebrated
DMS Destination Imagination (DI) - Teacher: Candi Rose.
Students: Abby Wilson and Scarlett Calloway; won state in the Fine Arts category
DMS Art - Teacher: Mrs. Nalty.
Student: Kennedy Craft earned 1st place in the Junior Division in drawing for the state of Alabama.

DMS Scholar's Bowl - Teacher: Mrs. Dea.
Students: Emilia Ng, Matthew Ng, Sriram Rani, Katherine Milonopoulos, and Nora Gottlieb. Emilia Ng was also awarded 1st place for All-Tournament Team at State. 6th grade Team placed 2nd at State at Wallace State Community College on March 7th and qualified for Nationals.
The Scholar's Bowl 7th/8th grade Team placed 5th at State for Division I at Hoover High School and qualified for Nationals. Team members: Cindy Halter, Ahsan Sohel, Elise Datcu-Charrault, Vedanth Siva, and Paul Allison. Cindy Halter was also awarded 6th place for Division I--All-Tournament Team at State.

Students: Bella Chilufya is an 8th grade AVID student who plans to attend the University of Florida and major in Biology. She aspires to become a Pediatric Orthodontist.

Autumn Barker is an 8th grade AVID student who plans to attend Ringling College of Art and Design and major in Fine Arts. She aspires to become an Artist.
