BJ, JC Field 7 Presidential Scholar Candidates Each
Bob Jones and James Clemens high schools are again among the top producers of U.S. Presidential Scholar candidates in Alabama. The latest list of qualifiers showed Bob Jones and James Clemens with 7 candidates apiece.
The U.S. Presidential Scholars Program, now 56 years strong, recognizes and honors some of the nation's most distinguished graduating high school seniors. Each year up to 161 are ultimately named U.S. Presidential Scholar so being a candidate is a prestigious honor.
Semi-finalists will be posted in mid April and the final U.S. Presidential Scholar recipients will be posted in early May.
