Mrs. Julie Rodgers

BIO

Hello, I'm Julie Rodgers, I am excited to be the LIbrary Media Specialist at Liberty Middle this year.  This is my 5th year as a librarian and my 21st year overall.  Before attaining my Master's of Education in Library Media from Auburn University, I was a middle school English Language Arts teacher for 15 years in St. Clair County, Alabama.  I also taught literature and drama in Leeds, Alabama.

I have been married to my college sweethear for 23 years, and we have two children.  Emily is a social worker in Decatur, and Elena is a film major at The University of West Georgia.  We also have a crazy dog named Charlie, who loves chasing squirrels around the yard.

My hobbies include reading and having family game nights with my family.  We also love to watch Auburn play anthing and Atlanta play baseball.
