Welcome! I am beyond excited to be teaching fourth grade this year at one of the best schools in the district! I graduated with my Bachelors and Masters in Education from the University of Arkansas - Woo Pig! This is my eleventh year of teaching. I have teaching experience in grades 2nd through 6th. My husband, who is a Captain in the US Army, and I moved to Madison two years ago. However, we are no strangers to the Huntsville area. My father's side of the family lived in Huntsville, he graduated from Huntsville High School, and is an Auburn Alumni. My husband went to Hazel Green High School and graduated from the University of Alabama. When I am not teaching, you might find me out shopping, watching movies, going to concerts, being outdoors, running or playing a sport, walking my English Labrador - Gunnar, or at a trivia night. On the weekends, I enjoy traveling, camping, and cheering on my favorite teams: Houston Astros, Arkansas Razorbacks, and New Orleans Saints. Spending time with my family and friends is my all time favorite! I know that this is going to be a wonderful year of learning and growing!
