I have been teaching art in Madison since 2008. During that time, I taught grades 6th through 9th at Liberty Middle School. This will be my first year teaching at James Clemens. I am originally from Scottsboro, Alabama. I moved to the Birmingham area to receive my college education from the University of Montevallo where I received a Bachelor's in Fine Arts and a Master's in Education. Montevallo is where I met my husband, Adam, and after graduation, we settled here in Madison. We are proud parents of two children, Liam and Penelope. They both attend school at Columbia Elementary.
