Hello Journey Jags Nation! During this enthusiastic time, I am honored and excited to teach science and be the Head Football Coach at Journey Middle School! We look forward to building a robust academic and football program at Journey Middle that we will all be proud of. I have 31 years of teaching coaching experience, where I have taught science and Physical Education and coached at the varsity level for 30 years.

During those years, I won 8 regional or District titles, coached the Alabama Athens High School 5A State Champions in 2006, and coached two of the final four teams in Florida. In addition to coaching football, I have coached baseball, track and field, and wrestling. My wife, Stacey, and I have four children; Gavin, 26; Baylor, 22; Carson, 10; and Claire, 4. We will have a great year in the classroom and on the football field! GO JAGS!
