Hello! Welcome to 6th grade U.S. History and 8th grade World History.This is my first year at Liberty Middle School, and I am so excited to be a part of the Lion family. I was born and raised in Hartselle, AL, right down the road from Madison. I graduated from Athens State University with my degree in Social Science with a minor in Secondary Education and Educational Technology. 

Outside of teaching, I am very involved in my home church and enjoy spending time with my family. I also love reading, cooking, and all things Disney. 

I am very passionate about making history fun and relevant for each of my students. My goal is to encourage students to be their best selves by becoming critical and creative thinkers.
