Hello!

My name is Lauren Henson and I am so excited to be joining Madison Elementary as a Fourth Grade Teacher! I will be teaching English Language Arts and Social Studies. I come from Auburn City Schools, where I also taught Fourth Grade ELA and SS. This will be my fourth year teaching. 

I am originally from Birmingham, AL, but moved to Auburn to major in Elementary Education at Auburn University. In 2019, I graduated with my Bachelors in Elementary Education. I like to say I bleed orange and blue because I am an Auburn girl through and through. War Eagle! 

I was engaged in November and moved to Huntsville this summer to join my fiancé. We will be getting married in June 2023.

Some of my favorite things include reading, yoga, the beach, cooking my favorite recipes (courtesy of Pinterest), and spending time with my fiancé and family.

I look forward to an awesome year and getting to know all my students joining Team Henson!
