Hello and welcome to James Clemens High School! 

My name is Daniel Guinn, and I am so excited about the 2021-22 academic year!  I have a passion for science education and pledge to provide my students with every opportunity for success.  

I hold a Bachelor of Science in Biology and I am currently working on a Master of Education in Secondary Sciences at the University of West Alabama.  Previously, I was a Biotrain Intern with HudsonAlpha in the educational outreach department. I have also worked as an Avian Field Tech for Alabama A&M University. I hope to create an excitement for science in each of my students!  

My interests outside the classroom include, spending time with my wife Kasey, paddle boarding in the waterways surrounding the Tennessee River, running, and traveling.  I am looking forward to meeting each of you!  Go Jets!
