Hello, my name is Mr. McAfee! I will be teaching computer science courses and I am so eager to meet each student. Last year was a difficult year for many of us, and it is an amazing opportunity to teach everyone in person.

This will be my first year teaching high school, and I have previous experience tutoring and mentoring individuals and small classes at Wallace State Community College in multiple programming languages. In addition, I have served in the Madison City Schools system as an IT technician at both James Clemens High School and Discovery Middle School. I have a degree in Computer Information Sciences with a focus in programming, and I will be earning my M.S. degree in Cybersecurity Management in the next couple of months.

If there are any concerns from parents or students at any point during the year, please do not hesitate to reach out to me. I am determined to provide the most supportive environment that I can. I can't wait to get to know you!
