I was raised in Florence, Alabama, so close to Madison! However, I lived far and wide before returning to North Alabama: North Carolina, Vermont, Massachusetts, Texas, three countries in Africa, northern India, southern France and Paris! I am so happy to be with you now in beautiful Madison! 

I have been teaching French and English for 40 years, all levels. My undergraduate degree is in French and English from Salem College, Winston-Salem, North Carolina. My master's degree is in French from Middlebury College, Vermont. 

I am a proud aunt of two nieces and two nephews and "mom" to two tabby cats named Molly and Abbie! I love reading widely, writing in journals, poems, and short stories, movies, and especially traveling. My friends, family, and students are the bright lights in my life!
