Mr. Bryan Kennedy
I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself. My name is Bryan Kennedy. I received my undergraduate and master’s degrees from the University of West Alabama, graduating in May 2013. I served as a graduate assistant in the science department and even taught several classes at the university as an adjunct professor in the science department. I think I have enough experience to prepare you to go to the next level. I have been married to my wife, Danielle, for 6 years and we have the most free-spirited toddler, Hadley. We live in Cullman, Al.
My favorite subject in science is Physical Science, followed closely by Earth & Space. This will be my first year teaching Earth and Space and I am excited about the new change. The part that I look forward to the most is space, because I love following SpaceX as they develop their mission to go to Mars. My favorite part of Physical Science has always been physics. Physics explains how the universe is governed through the laws of mother nature.
I am very excited about this new school year and look forward to working with each of you as we navigate this new year. I need your help this school year. In her book, Hillary Clinton said, “It takes a village to raise a child”, but it also takes teachers and parents working together to educate them. I will be teaching four classes of the 6/8 science and robotics club after school. I look forward to meeting you in person and I hope each of you will make it a point to come by and introduce yourself to me. My planning period is B Block first semester and D Block second semester.
