Degrees and Certifications:
Ms. Stacy Humphress
Hello RES! I'm "Nurse Stacy" and I am incredibly grateful to have joined the Rainbow Rocket family! I discovered my love for nursing and became a board certified RN in early 2010. Directly out of school, I spent time working in the Mother/Baby unit as a pre-op nurse in an Ambulatory Surgical Center, and as the 3rd shift Staff RN for the U.S. Space and Rocket Center before my employment with Madison City Schools. I started as a substitute nurse for MCS in 2019, spending time working with all grade levels before taking root at Rainbow Elementary during the 2020-2021 school year.
I was born in the small town of Greensburg, IN and lived 22 yrs as a "Hoosier" before moving to Alabama in 2001. Twenty years later, I have 2 wonderful children and a blessed and fulfilling life in Madison, AL. My daughter, Kathryn "Katie" Ann is a freshman at James Clemens and Myles Edward is a third grader at Heritage Elementary. I spend my free time with my loved ones hiking, traveling, and trying to stay in touch with current "cool kid" lingo.
As your nurse, communication is my #1 factor for maintaining a successful clinic for you and your children. As a parent AND employee of Madison City Schools, it is my goal to maintain excellence for all the cool kiddos out there! I want you to feel free to contact me via email/clinic phone regarding any medical conditions, medications, or any other health related matter. I strive on resolving all matters in a timely fashion, so I will respond ASAP and I look forward to meeting as many of you as I can!
