Degrees and Certifications:

Mrs. Jill Hobbs

I have been working with children since I was a young teen. I knew early on that teaching would be a career path for me. In High school, I went ahead and prepared myself for this field by working in Elementary schools on the side, baby sitting, and taking all the Early Childhood Classes that the school offered. After that I attended Athens Technical College and took Early Childhood. As I attended college, I would go to observe other schools, teachers, and Pre-K's. After College I worked in GA Pre-K programs within the school systems. A few years after that I worked with Special Needs Pre-K programs within the schools as well. Pre-K is such a valuable age to see learning and growth. I am more than excited to have this opportunity.

I grew up in Athens, Georgia. We moved to Alabama and purchased a house in the small town of Ardmore. I am married with two children, a boy and a girl. They keep me busy when I am not working. Our daughter sings at church, and my son plays basketball. We love to do parks with our family and be outdoors.
