Ms. Elizabeth Morton
Hello! My name is Ms. Elizabeth Morton and I am proud to say that I am the Speech-Language Pathologist at Liberty Middle School! I was born and raised in Huntsville, AL and still continue to reside there. I graduated in 2009 from Alabama A&M University with a Masters in Communicative Sciences and Disorders. I have been a practicing Speech-Language Pathologist for 11 years now with a lengthy background in the medical side of Speech Pathology. I decided to make a change in October 2019 and come to work for Madison City Schools. Best decision I have made in my professional career!
When I am not working with your child, you can find me enjoying the outdoors, cuddling with my two precious Shih-Tzus (Griffin and JuJu), sipping on coffee, knitting a pair of socks, or assisting and providing for the needs of the homeless of Huntsville.
I also help to lead First Priority here at Liberty!
I look forward to an amazing new year...where the teamwork makes the dream work! Go Lions!
(Welcome to Haley Peters from Auburn University! She will be my graduate student intern until April 29th. She will be helping me with treatments and with testing. She is super excited to get to meet the speech students and to work with them!)
