I am originally from Gadsden, Alabama and graduated from Gadsden City High School. I went on to the University of Alabama where I studied Archaeology, English, and Italian. After college I joined Teach for America and spent two years teaching in Central Alabama in low income areas.
This will be my fourth year teaching. I have experience teaching Biology, Environmental Science, AP Environmental Science, and ACT Test Prep.
I have an American Bulldog named Archer and a cockatiel named Brenda at home. This year in my classroom I will have my tarantula, Cranberry, my corn snake, Leroy Jenkins, and a fish tank.
I’m ready to have a great year at BJHS!
