Welcome to First Grade! My name is Ariel Lavish. I was born and raised in Madison, AL, and am so excited to be teaching in my hometown! I graduated from Auburn University (War Eagle!!) with a Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education and from The University of West Alabama with a Masters degree in Early Childhood Education. Before joining Madison City Schools, I taught 1st grade in Jefferson County. This will be my second year teaching in Madison City! In my free time, I enjoy reading, going on walks, watching movies, eating anything sweet, and spending time with family and friends. I love teaching 1st grade and look forward to a fantastic year at Midtown Elementary!
