Natalie Lane graduated from Auburn University in 2009 where she earned a degree in Special Education (WAR EAGLE!). She recently received a Master of Education in Differentiated Instruction with a concentration in Autism.

Mrs. Lane has been teaching Special Education for 10 years. In 2010, she began her teaching journey in a Madison City middle school where she taught students with special needs in a self-contained classroom. In the summer of 2017, she decided to try teaching a different age group and began teaching students (ages 4-6) with Autism Spectrum Disorder at the UAH Early Learning Center. After 2 years, she realized that she missed middle school and came to teach at Discovery Middle School.

Mrs. Lane and her husband live in Madison with their 2 little girls, Charlotte and Caroline.
