¡Hola y bienvenidos a la clase de español! Hello and welcome to Spanish class!
My name is María Ingram and I'm so happy to be your child's Spanish teacher! I look forward to getting to know your child and sharing the Spanish language and cultures of the Spanish speaking world with them. I've been a teacher since 2006 and have taught Spanish and English as a Second Language to all ages from preschool to adult.
I love traveling and learning about new places, cultures and languages, hiking, reading and spending time with my husband, Ryan, and son, Connor, who is just starting school here at Columbia. I've spent time in Spain, Mexico, and Costa Rica, and love to visit castles, art museums, rain forests and volcanoes. I've studied Spanish in Spain and served as a volunteer interpreter in Mexico for medical missions.
