My name is Andrea Mayer and I'm very excited to welcome your child to Columbia Elementary School and the Transitional 1-2 class. This is my first year both in Alabama and Columbia, however, I'm not new to the south. As  a native Tennessean, we are a house divided as my husbnad in a UT graduate and I am a Avid Roll Tide fan!!!  I have 2 children in college, my daughter who is an Collegiate Runner and Senior in PA and my son who attends UAH as a Theater Techie.  This is my 28th year teaching special education and I have a variety of teaching experiences from pre school to the secondary level. I'm very excited to be a part of the CES family and to work with you and your child.
