I currently teach English 8. This is my tenth year in education and I feel so grateful to call Liberty home. 

I am originally from southwest Florida and attended the University of Central Florida - go Knights! Teach for America relocated me to Huntsville in 2013 where I met my husband. We love to travel and spend time outdoors. When I'm not in the classroom, you can find me chasing my toddler around the park, reading, and drinking coffee (cliché English teacher, I know). We welcomed our second child at the end of the summer and are currently enjoying lots of baby snuggles (and lots of sleepless nights). My maternity leave is scheduled until October 10.
