Mrs. Frances Garro

Degrees and Certifications:

Mrs. Frances Garro

My name is Frances Garro and I will be working alongside with Mrs. Lisa Koerlin. I recently moved to the Madison area, with my family, from Canton, Michigan. There, I had the wonderful opportnity to work as an Assistant Teacher in Ward Preschool in one of their extended day pre-k classes, as well as, co-planning a fun STEAM class every Friday. I was also the Lead Teacher in Two Fun class (for 2 year olds and their parents). I am so excited and blessed with the opportunity to join the wonderful team of teachers of Madison City Schools Pre-K Center. I love and am so grateful to be part of our preschool and our families.

I am originally from Puerto Rico where I earned a bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Technology from the University of Puerto Rico – Medical Sciences Campus.  I am currently enrolled in Ashworth College to complete my Child Development Associate Certificate in Early Childhood Education (CDA).

I am married to my college sweetheart, Dan, and we have two beautiful children, Diana and Diego, who are also attending our wonderful Madison City Schools district. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with family and friends, playing board games and doing arts and crafts.
