2020 starts my 40th year in education. I am a native of Huntsville, Al and attended Grissom High School. I graduated from Auburn University with both a Bachelors and Masters Degrees. I have worked at Bryan, Texas HS, Auburn University/ Montgomery, Berry College, Armuchee High School, Madison County High School and BJHS for the past 19 years. I have been a certified Athletic Trainer and Coach the whole time . I have coached Football, Basketball, Track & Field, Baseball and Softball.

My wife Phillis and I will be celebrating our 38th anniversary this December. We have 3 grown children Courtney who lives in Auburn with her husband Justin and their two boys Briggs and Emerson. Luke and his wife Jessye who teaches Engineering at BJHS and their girls Kay and Glenne, and Casey who teaches kindergarten at Columbia Elementary.

This year I am returning to coaching after and 8 year vacation with the BJHS Freshman football team.
