Mr. Garrett Sloman
Mr. Sloman earned a Bachelors Degree in Collaborative/Special Education (6 - 12) from Alabama A&M University, Normal, Alabama.
Mr. Sloman has two years of experience as a Collaborative/Special Education Teacher. Mr. Sloman began his teaching career at Discovery Middle School in the Fall of 2018. The 2020 - 2021 school year will be his third year at DMS. Prior to accepting the Collaborative/Special Education position, he student taught at Bob Jones High School and DMS. Mr. Sloman has coached the Archery Team since the 2018 - 2019 school year. Also, Mr. Sloman is an Assistant Baseball Coach. He is the Head Coach of the 7th grade Baseball Team.
Mr. Sloman is a native of Hunstville, Alabama. He has been a resident of Huntsville his whole life. He graduated from Buckhorn High School in 2013. During his high school career, he played baseball. After graduating from Buckhorn High School, he attended Alabama A&M University where he earned a Collaborative/Special Education (6-12) degree, and played baseball.
