Madame Perry holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in Spanish/ English/ German and Dance, a Master of Arts in Reading Education, from the University of Mary-Hardin Baylor, TX, and an Educational Leadership and Administration from The George Washington University, Washington DC.  She holds International Baccalaureate certificates for teaching French levels MYP and Certificate from Montreal, Quebec.  She is also qualified to teach Spanish P-12. She is a native speaker of both French and Spanish.  She holds a Goethe Institute Certificate for German, an Oral Proficiency Interview (OPI) certificate from Virginia, and an Advanced Placement (AP) for French certificate from Texas.

Madame Perry's Bio: 

Madame Perry began her teaching career with the Woodbridge County Schools in Virginia.  As a military spouse, she has since served in many teaching and leadership roles with various districts throughout the country.  She taught and sponsored French Honor Societies, International, and Amnesty International clubs throughout her teaching career.  She taught for the Newport News Public Schools in Newport News, Virginia, Temple, Texas and then served as a French and Spanish teacher and instructional leader for the York County School District in Virginia.  Madame Perry was a faculty member for the Governor's World Language School for the Common Wealth of Virginia, at Washington and Lee University during the summer of 2016. While at YCSD, she also worked with Central Office with World Language Curriculum and Instruction for the International Baccalaureate (IB) and Middle Years Programme (MYP). While in Virginia, Madame Perry was a founding member and Secretary for the French American School of Norfolk, (FASN) in Norfolk. She worked with the city of Norfolk, the Norfolk Public Schools and the French NATO Allied Command Elements.

Madame Perry did her first internship for the Cumberland County Public Schools in Fayetteville, North Carolina.  All the while working with the John F. Kennedy Defense Language Institute (DLI) Schools, as a French Language instructor for the Special Forces and Psychological Operations.  She is highly qualified to teach and lead in both Virginia and Alabama public schools. After relocating to Huntsville, Alabama, Madame Perry continues her educational career improvement via doctoral work with Samford University, in Birmingham, Alabama.

 Madame Perry currently resides with her husband, son, and daughter in northern Alabama, where she works for the Madison City Public Schools. She is pursuing doctoral work in educational leadership and administration at Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama. She teachers summer dance workshops for the city of Huntsville, and is an adjunct instructor with the department of world languages at the University of Alabama at Huntsville.
