Education

Mrs. Bagwell graduated summa cum laude from Athens State University with a B.A. in Art and a minor in Education. Mrs. Bagwell is ALSDE Class B certified to teach grades P-12 in Visual Art, and she is a National Board Certified Teacher.

Experience

This is Mrs. Bagwell’s sixth year at Discovery Middle School. She has taught Introduction to Visual Art, Visual Art, Advanced Art, Sculpting Art, Mixed Media Art, and Introduction to Fashion Design while here at DMS. This year Mrs. Bagwell will be teaching 3D/Sculpting Art and Advanced Art. She is also the 7th/8th grade Art Club sponsor.

Biography

Mrs. Bagwell is married and has two children that are both in college. She also has two silly dogs, Taco and Alice. Mrs. Bagwell’s favorite art mediums are charcoal, pastel, colored pencil, gouache, and oil paint.
