While in graduate school at Alabama A&M University, I was a graduate student clinician at Columbia Elementary for over a year and also worked ESY at Mill Creek one summer. Upon graduating, I accepted a position with Cobb Pediatric Therapy Services, and contracted into the DeKalb County School District in Georgia for a year and a half. I enjoy participating in continuing education in my field throughout the year in order to remain up to date, and in the know. Fun Fact: Mrs. Roy was one of my externship supervisors in graduate school!
I was born and raised in New York City. I fell in love with all that the University of Alabama had to offer when deciding which college was the right one for me, and the rest is history! I recently got married in Summer 2018, and shortly after the wedding we made the move from Atlanta, GA to sweet home Alabama. I love volunteering in the community with Girls On The Run North Alabama, reading, crafting, shopping, and traveling to visit family and friends as much as I can!
