Welcome to 5th grade! My name is Jaime Mathison and I have been teaching at Heritage Elementary since 2017. I graduated from UAH with a Bachelor's in Elementary Education in 2017.  In 2021, I completed my Masters in Elementary Education.

My husband John and I are both locals, born and raised. We have 2 beautiful children, Ella who attends Heritage and Jacob, who attends Liberty.

In my spare time I love to read, enjoy outdoor activites with my family and travel as much as time allows.  Travelling is a true passion of mine, and my husband and I look forward to being professional tourists one day when we retire.

I'm excited to have your child in my classroom this year and helping them grow as leaders as they prepare for middle school! GO RAMS!!
