Bachelor of Aerospace Engineering Professional Educator Certificate (General Science) National Geographic Certified Educator
After graduating from Auburn, I went to work as an Aerospace Engineer for Pratt & Whitney Government Engine Business in West Palm Beach, Florida. Soon after, I came "home" to Alabama when a position opened up at NASA's Marshall Space Flight Center. I worked there until 1998 when I took a break from engineering to raise my family.
In 2015, I returned to the workplace as a contractor for NASA, again at Marshall Space Flight Center. I had the opportunity to work with two technology development programs: Centennial Challenges & Technology Development Missions. I left NASA and came to work at Madison City Schools in 2017.
I am married to Mark Krome and have three children who currently attend school in or have graduated from the Madison City System: Sophia, Celia and Rett.
