My name is Dewayne Perkins. I am a History teacher at James Clemens. I graduated in 2003 from Athens State University. I have been at JC since the school opened in 2012. Prior to JC, I taught 7th grade at Discovery Middle School from 2009-2012. Before coming to Madison City, I taught 6 years with Huntsville City Schools. I have taught a variety of classes such as Civics/Geography, Career Prep, World History, US History, and Government/Economics. 

When I am not at James Clemens I enjoy the outdoors. I am an avid golfer and love spending time with my son.
