Hello to all students and parents.  My name is Joe Blankenship and I currently teach World History here at LMS.  This will be my 8th year at LMS and 15th year of teaching overall. I graduated from Athens State University in 2007 with a Bachelor's in Social Sciences and have been teaching ever since.  I love being in the classroom and interacting with students, getting to know them, and helping them become more responsible and independent individuals.  When I'm not teaching, I enjoy spending time kayaking, golfing, and just being outdoors in general.
