Degrees and Certifications:

Mrs. Tammy Fiscus

Hello and welcome to Liberty Middle School. I'm Tammy Fiscus, and this year I teach Math 7 and Math Meets Art. I started my teaching career at Rainbow Elementary in 6th grade in 2005. During my seven years there, I taught everything: math, science, social studies, reading, and writing. I enjoyed each subject, but my passion is math, so I became certified to teach it in middle school. In 2012,  I became a part of the Liberty family, and in 2019 I became a National Board Certified Teacher. Currently, I am working on my master's degree in Learning Design and Technology at University of West Alabama, and will be finished in October.

I have been married to my husband for  32 years, and we have two daughters: Kirsten who is 30 and a journalist and photojournalist for the Nashville Tennessean, and Kaitlin who is 27 and a freelance artist. Both of our girls attended Liberty when they were in middle school. I fell in love with the school as a parent of students, and now I am proud to say that I am a part of the fabulous faculty!
