Hello, I am Demetria Patterson. I graduated from the University of Memphis in 2004 with my bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education. Then, in 2007, I graduated with a master's in Curriculum and Instruction from Union University in Jackson, Tennessee. I also hold an Educational Specialist degree in Educational Leadership from Cambridge College in Cambridge, Massachusetts, in 2009.
I taught in Memphis, TN, for eleven years as a first-grade teacher. I joined the Madison City Schools family in 2015 as a Kindergarten teacher at Mill Creek. During the 2019-2020 school year, I became the Madison Aspiring Assistant Principal (MAAP) at Mill Creek, one of the best elementary schools in Madison City. I am excited to continue serving as the MAAP at the "Creek." 

My husband Joseph and I have two boys, Kylan (23) and Joshua (15). I enjoy being a plant momma, shopping, and spending time with my family during my spare time.

I consider it a blessing to serve the many staff members, students, and families within the Mill Creek community.
