I’ve taught for twenty-two years in Alabama elementary classrooms, with seventeen of those years in our outstanding Madison City School System.   This year I am so excited to serve our system as an Elementary STEAM Teacher.  I love working in 4th grade classrooms teaching Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math at Mill Creek, Heritage, and Horizon.   

Outside of teaching, I look forward to spending time with my husband, Fred, and two grown children, Anthony and Alexa.  My students often hear about my sweet dog, Daisey Mae, and loving cats, Max and Samantha.  Tennis is a favorite hobby, and I enjoy playing in local adult leagues.  I was born in the Ft. Walton Beach/Destin area and look forward to traveling in that direction when given the opportunity.
