ESL

Hi!  My name is Karin Holley, and I am an ESL teacher for both Discovery and Journey.  My time is split between the two schools and I love my students at each one.  This is my 6th year teaching ESL in Alabama.  ESL is a passion of mine because I grew up in two different countries, Kenya and South Africa.  I spent most of my school years in different countries with very different school systems.  I completed my undergrad at Tennessee Temple University and the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.  I also have my master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction with a concentration in ESOL from Middle Tennessee State University.  I am married to Jeremy, and we have three kids attending Madison City Schools.  I love my job and I love your kids!
