Education

Mrs. Bowden received her Master of Business Administration from Amberton University in 2021. Prior to that, she completed a Graduate Teaching and Learning Certificate from Kansas State University and a Bachelor of Arts from University of Hawai'i-West O'ahu. 

Experience

Mrs. Bowden is in her 9th year of teaching, and this is her first year at Discovery Middle School. Go Panthers!! ☺

Biography

Mrs. Bowden has lived in several states and overseas as an Army wife. She enjoys reading, writing, poetry, all things related to technology, and cheering on her first love, the Arkansas Razorbacks. Outside of school, Mrs. Bowden enjoys spending time with her husband, who recently retired from the Army. Mrs. Bowden and her husband are new empty-nesters! They love to visit their daughter, who lives in South Carolina. Mrs. Bowden also enjoys working alongside her husband in the yard, walking, listening to podcasts and audiobooks, playing with her dog Sammy, and sitting on the back patio watching the ducks and geese swim in the community pond.
