Civil Engineering and Architecture

Civil Engineering and Architecture (CEA) is a specialization course and is one of the Project Lead the Way (PLTW) engineering courses offered at Bob Jones.  The focus of Mr. Bailey's undergraduate degree is architecture, so he is able to bring experience from the college classroom and the professional world to this course.  Students learn the fundamentals of architectural design and the civil engineering concepts that buildings require.  They complete design challenges for both residential and commercial buildings.  Though the focus is on the engineering of buildings, this course highlights the art and science behind good architectural design.
